This is an experimental game which pits one player, known as "The One," against an entire group of players thinking collectively, known as "The Mob." For The One we feature Chessandgo, who is the 2007 World Champion. Mob members discuss the game and the Mob's next move in the Move threads. Typically, after about a week of discussion, the Mob Coordinator, RonWeasley, will e-mail Mob members with a ballot containing the most popular suggestions. The moves are ranked and tallied according to the Schulze method. Anyone (except Chessandgo) may read and discuss the move threads, but you must register to vote. If you would like to be a voting Mob member, send your e-mail address to RonWeasley at nbent@groupw.com. We request that the Mob electorate read the Move threads and make informed decisions. Here is the link to the actual game: http://arimaa.com/arimaa/gameroom/comments.cgi?gid=87015 The intent of this game is to produce the most masterfully played and most well-annotated example of Arimaa to date. Hopefully, through avid debate among the Mob, we will solidify and refine Arimaa strategy so as to elevate our overall level of play. Perhaps more importantly, this game promotes a sense of community, teaches beginners to play better, and provides a lot of fun.

Does the 2009 Mob game have an "about this game" sticky post? It should, and the link in the upper right of the game room should point there instead of here.
