OTB Arimaa tournament in Michigan?

I just saw this recent thread on BGG regarding an over-the-board, honest-to-goodness, face-to-face Arimaa tournament that someone is organizing. Perhaps someone here will want to help this person out in some way:

Yes, it's true.  
 
I posted a message in the Events subsection of the forum.
 
Now.....the question is.....who will show up?  Abstracts don't always get a lot of play at game cons, but let's hope.
