i just discovered something very worrying...
whre includes automatic postal games!!!
how is that an event?
either way, i guess i should start paying more attention to them, make sure i win all those matches

Effectively, "event" here should be read as "collection of games that didn't directly come about as a result of players picking their own opponents", hence their usefulness as a source for a (supposedly) unbiased rating list.

ok, i get it, its based on not having a choice of opponents, makes sense...
shame that unbiasedness doesn't extend to my own postals where i usually take a lot less time thinking time than others, o well, now i know
