2022 WC Rules, Format, and Schedule

At omar's request, I am starting a thread on running the 2022 WC. Compared to last year, I'd reduce the extent of best-of-3 and return to a 2-game final, and also perhaps allow for more breaks for players surviving deep into the tournament.
Let me know if you have any suggestions, and thanks.

What do you mean by a 2-game final? What if each finalist wins one game?

2-game final is instead of a 4-game final as last year and same as 2 years ago. The player emerging from the winner's bracket would only need 1 win out of the 2 games to win the tournament.

Ah; I would think of that as bo3 or bo5 with 1 game spotted.
