I found this interesting piece of news a while back: http://www.cnngo.com/shanghai/life/chinese-chess-king-looks-apprentice-0 82469 Hu Ronghua, arguably the greatest Xiangqi player ever, has launched a reality TV show in China. The winner gets to be his apprentice. I wish I could find the episodes with English subtitles. If only Kasparov would do something like this, I could have some very pleasurable evenings...

Check it out! The name of the show is, in Chinese, "弈棋耍大牌" which has been rendered in English as "Let's Play Chess," although Google's "Chess Diva" may be closer in the literal. With the Chinese name known, I found an episode: http://www.56.com/u34/v_NTg4MzQwOTU.html The two contestants do play against each other at 19:00, so you have to be patient. (Note: Looks like this forum doesn't like Chinese characters, but there's the code if you want to work it out. Transliterated, it's "Yì qí shua dàpái") Another: http://www.56.com/u84/v_NTk2OTA5MTM.html
