Every day when I stop by Weasley's office (where we both work at the, erm..., Magical Ministry?), his box of Arimaa sits there on his shelf looking sad because it's never been played. So one day, during lunch, we play. Now I'm here. Thanks a lot for ruining my life, Ron.

FysixST enters the story after the Rowling series ends. A persistent Hufflepuff, he gains a position at the Ministry of Magic as a wandshine boy. Later we discover he puts a charm on each wand he cleans. The charm puts a galleon into his pocket each time the wand is used. When he is found out, FysixST is promoted to Minister of Bailouts for the European Union. A bribe may have been involved.

Welcome and good luck climbing the bot ladder. Also, beware of elephants bearing gifts...

Are the bots dumber on Sundays, or have I really improved? I just beat Arimaazilla in 15 moves.

There's nothing like that quantum leap in comprehension that takes you from being crushed by a bot to crushing it. I'm not addicted to Arimaa per se as much as I am addicted to that feeling.
