Welcome Beerkeeper! There are a number of videos and books on how to play Arimaa well. Once you know the basics, I recommend trying out your own ideas until you find a strategy that works well for you. Also, feel free to stop by the chatroom if you have any questions.

I am also fairly new to the site. I teach high school and a bunch of teachers and I have decided to teach our home-room kids the game and have a little tournament. If you see me on, drop me a line. Looking to get a hang of the game and get 1 or 2 steps better than my students.
