Something Strange

Hi Omar, The server confused about who's turn it is in my game against Adanac. I've made my move, and it registered on the board, but on the list of games, it still shows a little red 5 next to my name. If you're reading this Adanac - it's you turn. Toby

Same thing with me and Adanac. Things seem to go backwards with him.

Omar there's another glitch since the server crash - the chat server has been down ever since.

Now I've got the same problem in my game against Belbo. It says it's his move, but it's actually mine.

I had the same thing happen on turn 3 with Robinson and now on turn 5 with Adanac. In both cases the gameroom shows it as my move while it is my opponents move. Keith

Oops I forgot to restart the chat server after the crash. The chat room should be working OK now. I am not exactly sure what caused the move display to get out of sync. But I put a deamon in place to check and update them once an hour if they are off.

| The daemon still hasn't worked out that it's Adanac's turn. Thanks for restarting the chat.

| I guess there is still some glitch. It was my move against RonWeasley just now, even though the red number showed beside his name. Fortunately I read the e-mail notification that it was my move and didn't let my time run down. Maybe there should be an extra "24 HOURS LEFT" e-mail notification for the postal games in case the red numbers (or other causes) seduce people into letting their clocks run down.

There is still a problem. It has been Anadac's move for several days, but the display shows me to move. This may be due to the fact that I had a Mozilla crash just as I submitted my last move.

Something wierd is going on. I received an email notice that Mr. Brain had moved at 7:28pm and that it was now my move. I received an email notice at 8:48pm that I had won. I did not make a move inbetween those two times. The game room shows it is my move and we are on turn 13. When I click on the link the game opens up to start a new game.

I checked the bomb-mrbrain postal game in the postal game page, and it shows a setup move. Omar, please restore the bomb-brain game to its former position.
