Unrate Game bug

There is a problem with the Unrate Game feature. I had a game in which neither me or my opponent could unrate the game because it told us we were losing. Fritz said he's had the same problem. Also I was just playing a bot and it said I lost on time even though the clock showed I had 8 seconds reserve time and 7 seconds for the move. I tried to unrate that one and again it said I couldn't because I was losing.

If this happened to me, it would be because the server thinks me and my opponent are both losers. Not just in arimaa, but in general.  That's a mean thing for it to think, but maybe it hates being called a server all the time.

Well, Mr.Server, what would you like us to call you? Sorry, we probably should have checked to see if you liked this name before we imposed it on you.

This name was picked because you serve us and do it well, however, if you would like a different name, we will gladly provide one.

What about Mr. Helper? That almost has the same definition as Mr. Server, but without the negative connotation of you being lower in status than us. We hope to make you happy, because it's not nice to be called losers, just as it isn't nice to imply that you are only built to serve us.

The unrate game feature was supposed to be a temporary solution until the server and client got better Smiley I suppose if it's a HH game then I should allow the player who won to unrate a game that ended on time and not check the position.

Thanks Omar.  I don't see any downside to letting the human who won on time unrate the game.
