Hidden players

I currently see 2 players listed as online (myself and one other), but there are two live (not postal and apparently not expired) games listed with players who don't appear in the online list. How is this possible? Is there an option to hide yourself from the list?

You can just log out of the game room while playing a live game. This will remove your name from the list, but your game will continue and will be shown in the live game list.

You don't have to be logged into the game room to continue playing a game. I guess the only way you can see this is if you play a game against someone else, and ask them to log out of the game room. Ask them to log out after both sides have moved at least once - I seem to recall that logging out too soon could cause the game to end. You will see that the game continues, and they can still submit moves, but that their name will not appear in the list of logged in users in the gameroom. You can try logging out of the gameroom yourself when playing a bot. I do that most of the time when I'm playing a bot - no good reason why really... Unfortunately, you can't see the gameroom when you're not logged in, so you won't be able to tell if your name is on the list or not.
