time control clock

Gday Guys, Just wondering if anyone uses a time control clock of any sort when they play arimaa on a physical board? I'm not a chess player and I wrongly assumed that arimaa used some sort of chess time control, but when I looked into getting a clock to go with an arimaa set I'm making, I was disappointed by the rudimentary chess clocks out there. Cheers, knarl.

The time control is arbitrary. You can certainly use rudimentary chess clocks if you wish. I'm sure if you look hard enough you can find a digital clock that can support all the time controls on this site.

We didn't use clocks at the live tournament I ran last weekend. I was worried that some of the games might go super-long as a result, but the longest one was only an hour.
