Interesting geeklist on BGG about "Levels of Expertise".

Chess, Go, Bridge and Scrabble all have entries on there. Arimaa definitely should have an entry, but it would be presumptuous of me to post something before consulting others.
How many levels of expertise (at least known) does Arimaa have?

Thanks for the link. I can't stay away from any discussion involving ratings. For Arimaa it is fair to say the ratings span 1000-2500, i.e. 7.5 levels of 200 points each, compared to 0-2800, i.e. 14 levels, for chess. I have trimmed the bot-bashing ratings off the top of the Arimaa scale, because if you allowed such ratings, the chess scale would also expand, at least to 3200.
Anyway, the comparison of 7.5 levels to 14 is not fair to Arimaa, because fewer people play Arimaa, and we have had less time to study it. Eventually we may find 14 levels of depth in Arimaa too, if not more.
