All, I've been playing some postal games, and sometimes I log in from different computers. I noticed the board will come up but not the pierces, on the bottom of the field it says connecting. It seems I can only play at my home but no other pc. any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I don't have trouble switching between computers, but I have had trouble in the past with pieces not showing up on computers with slow Internet connections. If the connection speed isn't your problem, the only thing I can think of to suggest is playing around with the menu option "Settings" -> "Game Client". Perhaps the issue is with Flash and therefore the Javascript client will work just fine.

This problem is even on javascript client. Now on postal mixer, I am playing often on experia and with board full of "Image" notes instead of images. Actually it si not the biggest problem. Often the space between steps is not delivered what prevents the client to play the step so the shown position does not correspond the board situation. Reload does not help so one have to open the game on computer with better connection (If move one want to play cannot be played in the shown position. Sometimes no move is legal ... with unsupported piece in trap in shown position, your turn starts with illegal dying step in either case). http://arimaa.com/arimaa/forum/cgi/YaBB.cgi?board=siteIssues;action=disp lay;num=1267838694

All, I followed the advice of going to settings, I adjusted it to work behind the fire wall. Now It seems ok at least when you play directly from the server. I have yet to try postal.

| This can happen in the Flash V1 and JavaScript clients because they load the images separately. It does not happen with the Flash V2 client since it has the images bundled in the client. It won't happen if you have a fast connection, but over a slow connection or a connection behind a firewall (going through proxies) it is prone to happen.
