Yes, I agree. But not sure what you mean by "facebook friendly". There is a facebook group for Arimaa as well as a couple of fan pages. It's been suggested in the past to make a Facebook app for Arimaa. Haven't looked into that yet.

I think he is talking about making the site more facebook compatible, in the sense of having your facebook account connected with your Arimaa account, there are some pages that already let you log in with your facebook account removing the need of registering in the page.

The facebook group only have like one hundred seventy people, and their is no interaction to my facebook profile. Eltripas has the right idea. If people could use their friends list on FB to arrange matches that might be nice too. I think a mobile phone app for the android or apple network would be great. the browser feature on my HTC evo runs into trouble when playing Arimaa.

| I get what you mean now. Facebook integration is something I can look into this summer. I was at a conference recently and it seems that a lot of companies are planning to use facebook for logins and registration. Facebook is now positioned to become the "Central Login Service" for the internet. Back in 1999 I had thought about such a service and even wrote up some info about it http://4you.com/login/Doc.intro But eventually decided that would not work because it's too centralized. I would rather see openid.net prevail since it is more distributed, but it just has not caught on. I wish the IETF would give it a push by having ICANN setup registrars for personal identity (similar to domain name registrars).

I really like the idea of an Arimaa Facebook app. Any sort of integration to Android/iPhone apps would also be great, but more difficult. When I found out about Arimaa, I was thinking that having a Facebook app of some sort could significantly increase exposure to the public.
