Hi everybody, I have programmed a client to play online Arimaa. You can download the source code (GPLv3) or precompiled debian packages from the official site http://arimaaclient.tuxfamily.org/ When you run the program it connects to a public room and then you can invite other players to a game. Of course now almost no one is connected because the program is little known. Here a video: http://arimaaclient.tuxfamily.org/#videos

i made a jabber account and installed from the deb, but was unable to connect; I left the room as the default: arimaaroom@conference.jabber.org Also while installing the system complained about the deb being of bad quality, with a bunch of messages about "wrong-file-owner-uid-or-gid" Also, I attempted to quit the client at one point while attempting to connect and it would not quit. edit: ok, the reason I wasn't connecting was that i put in jabber.com instead of jabber.org after my user name. I'm in now

| Yes, the only problem is that arimaa-client required GTK3 and Windows support is not yet ready, but I'm working about... on Aug 24th, 2011, 5:00pm, Simon wrote:edit: ok, the reason I wasn't connecting was that i put in jabber.com instead of jabber.org after my user name. I'm in now |
| If you tell me when you are connected we can play a game.
