Sorry about just putting the URL as the title, I'm hoping to attract the owner's attention should he/she check in here. There is no info on this page as to who created it and I forgot how I got to it because I just bookmarked it and moved on. Anyway, to the creator, you probably already know this but there is a flaw in your move algorithm that the computer abuses. I just checked, and the player can use it as well. Well performing a pull maneuver, if the player has more steps available, they can use the just pulled piece to pull a piece behind that one. As a result, a person can use one piece to pull along a chain of three enemy pieces. Just thought I'd mention it. And to the Mods, if there is a better subforum for this, by all means take it away.

The link in the title doesn't work for me. Also, I've never been able to, or seen anybody, or heard of anybody being able to submit an illegal move. Are you talking about arimaa.com here? Since you are new, is there a chance that you misunderstand something in the rules? Perhaps you can provide an example.

I assume that the link was just longer than could fit into the subject box and got cut off.

One can also push and pull at the same time there. EDIT1: I immobilized the bot and the client froze. I asume the other unusual game winning situations aren´t implemented as well.

Oops! Thanks geez for correcting the URL. And thanks Nombril for finding the owner. Sadly clojure hasn't posted in over a year, so I assume he's MIA for the time being. (I immobilized the bot too to see what would happen. )

Since the code is open anyone should be able to get it and fix it. At one time I had started playing with it to make some improvements. Never got around to finishing it. clojure's vision was to have a simple browser based bot that people could play against without even having to enter the game room. I think that would help more people learn the rules. Here's my version: http://arimaa.com/arimaa/jsBot/play/ If anyone wants to pick it up you can download it from here: http://arimaa.com/arimaa/jsBot/jsBot.zip
