I think our team will need to do a major recruiting drive as we only have a few active players at the moment, and our ratings are much too high to stay within budget.

If any new players are reading this and you’d like to join the World League, please join our team! If you have any questions, I’d be happy to answer them.

Otherwise, I’ll have to go out and find new players directly.

RmznA has joined the Ring of Fire. He's new to the Arimaa community and hopes to play at least one game for us. There's still plenty of space available if any other new players want to join our team.

Simon and Eggman will both be back on the Ring of Fire in 2012. And if anyone else wants to join we can definitely fit a lot more players on our roster.

I checked the Wiki today and was surprised to see that we recruited 3 new players through the AWL survey. So we now have 11 players including 6 new members. Welcome to the Ring of Fire everyone!

I’m running a team poll through the messages, which you can access through the link at the top of the screen (e.g. Hey, you have 1 message)

ERROR: I can't contact Aurelian through the message system. I've never encountered that before so he's either put me on his ignore list or there's some type of bug in the system. Or I've made some type of mistake, but I tried twice and checked the spelling very carefully.

Most likely, he simply never registered on this forum in the first place.

Ivers0n won't be able to play this week, so we need a replacement player as soon as possible. Please send me a message and I'll submit our new roster to megajester.

Wait, this message was posted after I was told my game time. Can the roster be changed after the pairings are done?

It's too late then. The new player will be a substitute for Ivers0n.

Eggman has volunteered to replace Ivers0n this week. Our budget is unaffected because Ivers0n had the higher rating.

I'll be away from September 19-30. During that time Thiagor will be the acting captain for Ring of Fire.

And remember to check your inboxes everyone: I'll still be responsible for putting the roster together for our next match ;)
