I think it's a bit early to be comparing Arimaa and Chess since we are just beginning to explore Arimaa and Chess has been studied for centuries. But someone created this page and Karl added a nice essay comparing the two. Well I went ahead and added my vote for Arimaa, and it seems to be winning so far :-)

Seems a one-sided debate, but i can't think of anything to add to the chess side.
