Title: Congrats Jean Post by omar on Jun 11th, 2010, 5:46pm If you go to news.google.com and search for "arimaa" you will see this news article featuring Jean Daligault the 2010 Arimaa world champion. http://fr.pokernews.com/news/2010/05/jean-daligault-jannotlapin-interview-biographie-entretien-jo-5159.htm But the news article is related to his accomplishments in Poker. Yes, Jean is also a very good Poker player. So why does this appear when you search for "arimaa". In his interview Jean managed to put in a plug for Arimaa, saying that he also plays "a relatively new strategy game called Arimaa, which I think is a game for the future". Thanks for the plug Jean, and congratulations on getting into the championships. |

Title: Re: Congrats Jean Post by Arimabuff on Jun 12th, 2010, 9:44am Congrats Jean. I am as puzzled as Leo is, did you really win $100 000? The text is a bit ambiguous. Word for the wise: Before you ever play live, work hard on your poker face, people will be watching. |

In fact I wonder how it is possible to play online without watching the faces. Especially when playing Liar's poker which has a double layer of psychology. |
