Title: Bot programming: where to start ? Post by Ikki on Mar 14th, 2013, 7:57pm Hi, everybody, I'm a computer scientist preparing a Master project. It will be about programming an Arimaa's bot. I'd like to know what would be a good starting point to do so ? I think it'd be interesting to begin with open source bots that are already available. What's your opinion. I've got knowledge about C, C++, Java, Matlab and a few other languages. Best regards. |

Yes I've seen that there is already quite a lot of material. I would I've liked to know a good starting point. If I'm correct, most of the bots provided there are "ready to play". You just need to connect to the AIE and that's it. Am I correct ? Do you have any recommandation, not to do useless work, beginning the wrong way or do time costly mistakes. Thanks ! |
