Title: AEI 1.2 release

AEI 1.2 has been released. It includes quite a few fixes and minor updates since the 1.1 release back in 2010. The protocol itself has not changed though and should be fully compatible with current engines.

Probably the largest change is that the scripts and package are now set up to be installed using standard python tools like 'pip'. 1.2 has actually been released for quite a while. I've been putting off announcing it until I could write up some more documentation on the new installation procedure, but that hasn't been happening. So if you have any questions ask here and hopefully I can fill out the documentation a little better.

Neat! Thanks Janzert! It's nice to see people working on stuff like this.
Now I only wish my bot weren't stuck on a dead computer :(
