Given my financial situation has improved in the past year, I will increase my pledge to the prize fund for the Arimaa Challenge to $1000 for 2008. Along with $1000 from PMertens and $15000 from Omar, the prize for 2008 stands at $17000 total.

With the increased confidence in Arimaa I am going to personally increase the Arimaa challenge prize further by offering an additional $5,000 until the year 2010. So if someone were to win the prize before 2010 they would get $15,000.
