Title: Arimaa tournament at U-Con, Ann Arbor, Nov 13 Post by Meadmaker1 on Nov 6th, 2010, 12:23am At U-Con in Ann Arbor, MI (USA) next Saturday, November 13, I will be gamemaster for an Arimaa tournament to be held at the U-Con game convention. This will be a three hour event, from 3:00 to 6:00. We will be playing using Chess sets unless you bring your own Arimaa set. I will be using the first half hour to teach the game to new players, and then we'll launch into a brief tournament. It is set for 8 players. It does not conflict with Clark Rodeffer's Miscellaneous Abstract Games tournament, which is earlier in the day than it has been in earlier years. (10:00 til 2:00) This will be my fourth year participating in that one and I find it to be an excellent event. If you have questions, drop me a line at Dave@gamesinmicihigan.com. |

Please keep us posted on how it goes. |
