With the WC registration now open I'm also looking to add to the group of Tournament Coordinators. If you've been around Arimaa for a while and seen a WC or two this is a great way to get a little more involved.

The full description can be found in the tournament rules. The basic idea is for you to help clarify rules to players and be available for specific games to make a judgement on whether a game result is final or not. But if you're ever unsure yourself you can always kick it up the ladder to me.

You're going to be here watching the games anyway right? It'd be great if you could join us and help ensure the tournament goes as smoothly as possible. Please leave a note here or send an email to janzert@janzert.com if you are interested. I will eventually want to get an active email address for any relevant messages I need to send.

I sent an email to the past TCs at about the same time I posted this thread, did that make it through? Now that I look I see it was sent to your full name address, I should probably switch to the other one?

Yes, I got the email. I don't check very often if I got new emails, but when I do, I open all my email accounts.
I will just make sure to open them more frequently.

Bump. I'd really love to get a couple more coordinators. Don't be scared, if you've participated in a WC before and can review the rules your are probably qualified to do this. Even if you don't have time to monitor many games, even a few games can be a great help.
