I've been playing this bot a lot as gold. My play has been very inconsistent. This is well illustrated in these two games.
The play was almost identical through move 6s.

In the game I won, I was able to smother the silver elephant and a dog by move 12g and use that to my advantage. In the game I got crushed, the bot flipped my horse to a3 on 6s instead of instead of into the c3 trap. The game unraveled for me after that. In protecting my other horse on 21g, I missed the camel threat to my dog and then made some very poor trades and was reduced to an elephant, a camel and 8 rabbits by move 29s with only the silver camel and a horse in return. By 33s it was all over.

In the game I won, the silver elephant refused to give up on a rabbit frame until 50s. By then it was too late, I had depleted the silver forces and had sure goal.

I didn't realize that I was on the road to ruin in the loss until too late.

You could save your horse at 25g and still be winning.

How is m for HDD is winning here? Gold almost has a dog hostage to compensate for the material, but it's hard to secure and silver could just lose the dog and still be ahead materially.

You are right, materially. Just felt like it should be winning especially against this bot :).
