I am planning to have an Arimaa party at the park this Sunday. My self, Aamir, Fritzlein, and Elmo will be there. Other attendees though unconfirmed as of yet may include: Naveed, ArifSyed, soldier and sulimp5.

It would start at 11am CST. Pizza, punch and animal crackers will be provided :-) Feel free to bring other snacks you can share. Also bring your Arimaa sets for some casual games.

If you think you can attend, please send me a message through the Contact page for directions. Would love to meet more of the players face to face. Sorry for the short notice, I just decided to try this a day or two ago.

Sounds like fun. I can't go as I'm adopting two cats this weekend. Black ones. I need them to replace cats I lost in a recent game. I need to teach them how to move, how to get along with the bigger animals, and not to chase the rabbits.

The Arimaa party turned out to be a real blast. We had a great time playing a simul against Karl. Even though he won all 6 games we had a great time discussing our horrible positions :-). Afterwards we had pizza, punch and lots of Arimaa discussions. Here are some photos from the event.

How about the shirt ? I didn't know you made some, will you put more for sale ?

Leo and others, if you happen to come to Montpellier, I'd be delighted to have an arimaa party ! Well, maybe we might have more chance to meet in Paris, who knows ?
