Title: "Bad Show" Post by Belteshazzar on Feb 14th, 2015, 5:07pm http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2913932/Was-Charles-Ingram-INNOCENT-New-book-reveals-unseen-evidence.html This book was co-authored by journalist Bob Woffinden and James Plaskett, a chess grandmaster and quiz-show enthusiast. I haven't read the book, but I read this article and his earlier essay. I also watched the Celador documentaries about the case, and I am quite conflicted about what to think. I lean toward believing in Ingram's innocence, but I'm not really convinced. A few years ago, when Fritz was hoping to get a chess gm interested in Arimaa, I thought of Plaskett. Fritz contacted him, but apparently he wasn't interested. |

Title: Re: "Bad Show" Post by Arimabuff on Jul 28th, 2020, 12:28pm I think if they were honest they would retitle their game "who wants to be accused of cheating their way to be a millionaire?" Two years is a long time to be accused of anything. It looks like once you've been a candidate to this fraud you have a sword of Damocles over your head... for life!!! |
