Title: Greetings, Baggins here. Post by akbaggins on Jul 2nd, 2010, 10:28am I just started playing Arimaa today and have only played the lowest bot on the ladder but enjoyed it thoroughly. What's alluring to me is the four-step turn, that allows me to play both offense and defense, or work on different parts of the board in one turn. It's an excellent game and the site is very user friendly. Cheers! |

Title: Re: Greetings, Baggins here. Post by akbaggins on Jul 4th, 2010, 10:21am The song seems well researched, right down to the Yul reference! I've lived in Thailand for 7 years now, and my Mrs. is Thai, but I'm originally from P.R. and I'll be moving "back" to the States in a couple of months. I guess I'll have to change the location entry then. Thanks for the welcome :D |

Title: Re: Greetings, Baggins here. Post by Fritzlein on Jul 4th, 2010, 11:11am Speaking of well-researched, I only find one "A" name in the whole Baggins family, namely Angelica Brownlock, and no "AK". But maybe the names have changed since the 1200's :P |

Title: Re: Greetings, Baggins here. Post by akbaggins on Jul 4th, 2010, 9:35pm Actually, Baggins is my dog's name (I like the scene in in the film where the wraiths go around asking: Shire....Baggins...). A.K. is my blogger name, so to speak, from here: http://animekritik.wordpress.com/ What is a Fritzlein? I had quite a few pastries in Germany when I was there but I don't ever remember seeing any Fritzlein. ;D |
