Hi...

Some of you may remember me.  Together with Paul Pogonyshev, I'm one of the two co-authors behind bot_Amiraa which is now part of the bot ladder. Unfortunately I haven't had time for any Arimaa for several years. In the mean time, he has written a second-generation bot, Badger, from scratch and using some pretty advanced techniques he had some nice results in the 2010 WCC. This year, Paul and I will work to improve Badger and our goal is to reach 2000 rating points before the 2012 WCC tournament.  Be warned! :-)

Having more strong bots makes everything more exciting, in my opinion. Best of luck!

Welcome back!  The more developers are active, the more interesting the Arimaa Challenge becomes.
