While we're on the subject, I should apologize to PMertens who invited me some time yesterday. I usually log out when I'm away from the screen, but this time I left and forgot all about it. I wasn't ignoring you, really!

I too must apologize to DorianGaray who has invited me 2 days ago (or so). He wanted to play a rated game with me, but i am a totally Novice and want first to get experience by playing unrated games(at least with the stronger players) .
But this invitation was classified as 'R', and i also didnt want to decline, so i have done nothing.. (even worse?)

(i dont know how i can write him a private message, so i wrote in this thread..)

joe : you can send private message through "Members" on top of the forum window by selecting the player you want ...

As for the rating : usually all game human vs human here are rated it seems ; never mind the rating anyway !!!

Joe, you can also send your own custom reason when you chose to decline. That way you can tell the challenger that you would perfer a game with different settings.

Hey Joe,

you are perfectly save playing rated games against Dorian or any other player rated over 2100 points ...
It will cost you very close to 0 rating points ... and if you get the chance to chat and ask a little it will bring you a lot of experience and understanding (and fun)
