Title: World Champs Game 3 against fritzlforpresident Post by jdb on Jan 22nd, 2008, 9:08am FritzlForPresident, I was just informed that I am renovating a house this weekend, so I am unable to play our game on the weekend. Would it be possible to play either Friday evening starting between 7pm and 11pm Eastern Standard Time, or Sunday evening starting between 7pm and 11pm Eastern Standard Time? Any time in that range is OK for me. Thanks jdb |

You guys may want to verify that with Omar. The round 4 pairings are usually announced on Sunday afternoon (Eastern Standard Time), several hours before your game will finish. |

Title: Re: World Champs Game 3 against fritzlforpresident Post by omar on Jan 22nd, 2008, 8:07pm Usually I try to finish up the games by the end of Sunday GMT and run the pairing program and send the email to notify the players the opponent and remind updating their times. I then give about 24 hours to allow players to update their times before running the scheduling program at the end of Monday GMT; and send out the email to let the players know what time their game is. The first game is not scheduled to start until about 24 hours after the notification. That way players have a chance to become aware of their scheduled time. I think we might be able to accommodate this request by shortening the time to update the preferred times. Actually the times can be update at anytime after your game times have been set. You could update your preferred times now for next weeks game. So I think it should be OK to play this game a little later than the usual cutoff. |
