Any way that we could make the plan window just appear different (maybe a different color will do) than the regular window? I already made a mistake in the postal tournament both submitting a move, and then hitting takeback in the game window when I thought I was in the plan window. I think this is pretty important. It's too confusing right now.

The move I made in the game in question is a terrible move, by the way. Not the move I would have made had I realized I wasn't in the plan window.

Crap, I still made the same mistake. I'm just an idiot. Dropped a piece versus bomb. That'll likely cost me the game.

Could we perhaps remove all the buttons on the left except for send, takeback, and quit? I realize I should be more careful, but after analyzing several games over a couple of hours, it gets easy to make a mistake.

When I am trying things out in the planning window, I *close* the game window. When I'm finished planning, I reload the game and make the move. Helps to prevent nasty mistakes.

Yes, I do it just like jdb. Another advantage is that the plan window does not crash my browser the way the game and watch windows do.

Rats, I just inadvertanetly sent a move when I thought I was planning too. I was thinking how smart I was to have never done that, but I guess maybe I should close the game window to be sure.

Perhaps browser crashes have an advantage. At work, Mozilla crashes and I have no choice but to use plan. At home, IE doesn't crash so I don't use plan. Most of my worst moves came from home.

So why don't I use plan more at home? Because I'm a lazy git! ;D

Please make the later changes I recommended. I just made the same mistake again in a game against Paul, and I'm probably going to lose that game now too. I'm really irritated that most of my blunders are not due at all to my skill in Arimaa.

I expect the change you have suggested now is much harder than the colour change - because it involves fiddling with the flash rather than just the html.
