I wanted to give it a try and used the usual procedure that seems to work with every other bot and it didn't work even after several attempts. What shall I do?

When I run it from the command prompt I get this error:

error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I guess this bot won't be able to run anymore since it was not compiled with static libraries and the old libraries it is looking are no longer there on newer systems.

I ask the developers to compile their bots statically, but I think David didn't notice that.

I've taken it off the "bots available to play" play list.

Ironically, that means bot_Bomb2004CC will remain the highest rated bot for the foreseeable future, conveying the impression that the bots have gone downhill in the intervening years. ;)
