Title: Feature request Post by IdahoEv on Mar 7th, 2008, 9:50pm Gameroom feature request for Omar. Any one of the following: 1) A way to actually disable challenge requests (not just remove the icon meaning "please challenge me") 2) A timeout or limit on the number of repeats of the challenge music 3) No challenge music if the user has turned off the "please challenge me" icon. The reason is that I tend to have 5-10 browser windows open, and so often walk away from my computer with no idea which windows are open in the background. I usually turn off my monitors when I leave (to save power) but often forget to turn off the speakers. This means I frequently return home to discover the challenge anthem has been blasting at full volume for 10 hours or more, because someone sent a challenge when I was away from the computer. :-) (D'oh!) |

Title: Re: Feature request Post by Arimanator on Mar 8th, 2008, 4:34am This seems rather trivial to me compared to the fact that I can no longer use any chatrooms this forum seems willing to offer while I was perfectly content with any of the previous versions. Why can't the previous version be available even though there are currently three accessible versions all equally useless to me? |

Title: Re: Feature request Post by leo on Mar 8th, 2008, 8:06am Arimanator, please could you describe how the chat room(s) behave in the forum thread for the chat room? The latest one has been tested OK on the old Internet Exporer 6 which, if I remember correctly, you use, so your feedback would be useful to debug the code. |

I've changed it so that it stops after playing 5 times. I don't want to completely disable this since I've used it in the past to get someones attention to ask them to meet me in the chat room; especially when there is some urgent problem. |
