When I was a move away from victory in game 86356, Loc timed out (12 minutes). any ideas why?

If loc's elephant becomes immobile it will time out since it doesn't know what to do. The same thing happened to me earlier tonight.

Think of it as an extra bit of difficulty to loc... You need to try to win and at the same time prevent loc from self destructing. :)

I wonder if BlackKnight had a chance to fix this in the version of Loc submitted for the 2008 computer championship. If so I will use this version in the bot ladder. In either case I plan to remove Loc2006 from the bot ladder and also make several other changes to the bot ladder in the near future.

BlackKnight said that he had fixed the 2007 version to resign when it generates no move, so I assume this is true in the 2008 version as well.

Please bring back Gnobot2006 if you can.

I think I had to disable this bot because after transferring the site to the current host, it was causing the system to get over loaded. Once I transfer the site again to a new host, I'll see if it starts working OK.
