I had seen some comments that the P1 and P2 versions seemed to be playing nearly identically and Arimabuff mentioned that he thought P1 was actually playing like a P2 bot. Last night I checked one position and commented on the game for the P2 bot that it was actually searching the P2 depth. Tonight I got a chance to pull a couple positions from the P1 bot games and check them.

The first was move 17s from game 82789.

You are right. The depth parameter for P1 was set to 8. I must have forgot to change it when I copied the gameroom.cfg file over from P2. Thanks for noticing this.
