Is there a way to set the game client to show the steps for every move. I know there is a speed setting but it does not seem to make much difference on my machine.

It would be useful to be able to replay a game on a step by step basis as opposed to a move basis. I know the game client shows the move transcript but this is a bit of a chore.

Perhaps I've misunderstood you, but in both client versions, pressing the "Show" button animates the next move step by step.
