Just wondering why the autopostal games are limited to 5 games at the same time. The time settings that are used would indeed allow for much more games than that at the same time.

I don't know the reason for the limit, but in any case you want to be sure to sign up for the Postal Mixer, which starts in April. There you can have as many games as you like, limited only the number of opponents. In 2009 you could have up to fourteen Postal Mixer games, iirc. Plus the quality of the games is very high, with few timeouts or forfeits. If you are still committed to Arimaa two months from now, it will be a good indicator that the Postal Mixer is right for you.
