It seems that my session ID expires when I refresh the Gameroom page, forcing me to login again. This is very annoying. Is it possible to fix this?

I myself don't know of any way to do this, but there shouldn't be a regular need to refresh the gameroom page, because its contents update automatically.

Also, there is a refresh link at the top right of the gameroom.

Well, when I start up my browser every day, the page refreshes and I am logged out.

What browser are you using? And what do you mean by "when I start up my browser"; you log in after the browser is started up, right?

I am using Firefox 3.6.3. When I start my browser, the notification pops up and I am forced to login again. All other websites keep me logged in.

@The_Jeh: I believe Ripoza has his browser set to reopen tabs that were closed upon exit. This will cause the browser to reload the pages, and the Arimaa gameroom will log you out because of it.

I believe that it is the intention of the server to log out inactive players. Since the game room displays a list of logged in players to everyone who is logged in, it clutters the screen for players to stay logged in all the time.

Also, it isn't true that all other sites keep members logged in all the time. On the contrary, none of the other game sites I have used recently (Brettspiel Welt, iggamecenter, boardspace.net, Bridge Base Online) keep me logged in when I close the game room window. They all log me out, as they should, since I am not there.

Some game rooms, however, do offer to remember my password in case I don't want to type it in every time I log in. I never use this feature myself, but I can understand why some people would. Perhaps a "remember password" feature is something Omar would be willing to consider.

This does not seem necessary seeing as most (if not all) browsers have that capability already. My Arimaa name and password are automatically entered in Firefox and Chrome.
