I just queried the games database for the countries of all human players who have played at least one game under a name other than Guest*. Here's where we are from:

49 DE
43 CA
35 AU
29 FR

11 SI
11 RO
10 CZ
10 SE

I was surprised that the overwhelming majority of players are from the U.S., but not so among the serious players. Apparently a lot of non-gamers in the U.S. visit the site.

I'm also surprised that, given how chess-friendly Russia is, only one player (Deleter) is from Russia.

Maybe you could have added the name of the country as well; I am not familiar with all the symbols. What does CA stand for, for example?

thats an interesting question- I don't know where you would go to find a list of what abbreviation means what, but there must be one somewhere. try a post office website or something..

but at any rate I think CA stands for Canada. if it were a US state, it would be California :)
