Title: Quantity Participation Post by Fritzlein on Dec 26th, 2006, 11:53pm I was inspired by syed's quantity participation to see where he stands on the list of most games played all time. He's about to take over the #2 spot, and at the rate he is going, will soon become the most active player of all time. Here is a list of all humans with more than 500 games played: 1776 Arimanator 1194 naveed 1123 syed 1091 PMertens 993 Fritzlein 926 Belbo 798 omar 787 blue22 734 Ryan_Cable 727 Adanac 670 DorianGaray 668 seanick 545 haizhi 544 Chegorimaa 539 99of9 I can't give this stat without wanting to give a similar list for rated human vs. human games too, since the latter kind of game does the most to advance the state of the art. Here are all humans with at least 100 rated games against other humans: 361 PMertens 345 Fritzlein 293 robinson 235 chessandgo 232 naveed 221 99of9 200 seanick 190 jdb 169 Adanac 154 Ryan_Cable 132 omar 127 Belbo 109 arimaa_master 106 Swynndla 104 OLTI I have almost caught up to PMertens for the top spot, but chessandgo is moving up so fast I may not hold the top spot long even if I take it. Only robinson, chessandgo, and jdb have played more games that were rated hvh than they have played games that weren't. It's hard to believe that chessandgo has played less than 500 total games, isn't it? |
