I thought it would be nice to have a place to record historical oddities and game records in the wiki - unusual endings and moves, etc. So I created and added the page UnusualGames (http://arimaa.com/arimaa/twiki/bin/view/Arimaa/UnusualGames) and populated it with the things I could easily search for in the DB: longest and shortest games, natural draws, etc.

This was inspired by the recent thread on double goals -- if anyone knows of an actual example where it happened, it would be great if you could add it to the wiki page.

You could add my game 42036 against arimaa_master where I was forced to suicide my elephant on turn 42b.

On many occasions i have forced my opponent to suicide his phant, and on all occasions he pulled my piece after dieing:

Since you bought this up, I couldn't resist mentioning the Arimaa pattern artist. :)

I have listed some of his games from my little endeavor with Arimaa. You can enjoy and have fun by seeing the following games.

39114 - 4 rabbits reaching goal, there would be many by others too
38654 - Stack all opponents rabbit on 7th row
38594 - Stack own rabbits on 7th row
39219 - Stack rabbits vertically
32454 - Capture all 16 pieces
37490 - Capture all 16 pieces into same trap
37674 - Symmetric immobilization
45801 - Diagonal immobilization

another game to add to the Hall of Fame : game 13755 where PMertens sacrifices his phant to goal in 5 ... in a fast game ;-) who else would have dared ? :)
