Special order:


The pieces are handmade from walnut wood and beechwood. The box is made from lime wood.

Board size: 32cm
Cell size: 32mm
The elephant is 60mm tall

That is AWESOME!

The things I noticed that I would change are:
  • The camel needs to be larger relative to the horses.  In general, keep the tops of the animals proportional to each other so that the strength of the pieces can be sensed without knowing what the animals are.
  • The letters and numbers on the right and top should be flipped, so that each player has a set of letters/numbers that is correctly oriented relative to themselves.  


Is the board completely smooth, or are the lines/letters/numbers indented where they were carved out?

Very very nice. I would second what rbarreira has said, but other than that it's wonderful. Very stylish. Congratulations!

Very nice set. I agree with ocmiente's suggestions; the camel needs to be a little bit taller.

The trap squares are stunning! They evoke the falling into a hyperspace vortex or something equally frightening ^^

Reminds me of the multiverse. We recently watched the Nova series called The Fabric of the Cosmos. There is an episode called Universe or Multiverse. Mind boggling stuff.

cvic, did you make videos of you sculpting and filing? Did you use any special tools?
