I had a quick look at the rising stars page and two recently joined players stood out to me: tharkun stands out the most with Thiagor close behind.  These players have joined within the last 3 months or so and already have achieved respectable ratings.  Maybe the world championship title will keep changing to new up-in-coming players instead of settling down to a top few.
