Attention Developers: Arimaa Apps Wanted

Title pretty much says it all. I think the best approach for a developer would be to push out a "FREE" version and a "PRO" paid version via through google apps, amazon apps and lastly apple apps.

A good example or a model to follow, for a well made app, in my opinion, is "Chesspresso". Chesspresso is a "correspondence chess" app.

I believe that Arimaa would be a perfect candidate for a "correspondence-type" game. To give developer's an idea, you could offer the FREE version of "Correspondence Arimaa" which allows a set amount of moves per day. While the PRO version would allow an unlimited amount of moves per day.

Considering the fact that there is absolutely ZERO Arimaa apps currently on the market. There is an untapped profit potential for the app to be a success. At the very least, making an Arimaa app would help to publicize and market Arimaa to the general population.

Anyways. That's my 2 cents. Personally, I can't wait to download the first Arimaa app I find on my cell phone. Cheers : )

There is currently an iPhone app out there. There are developers working on apps for other platforms, but they are doing it at their own pace; so I don't know when they will be released.
