Title: Rule clarification
Post by theukulelelover on Jul 14th, 2012, 1:46pm
Howdy!

I just wanted some quick clarification of the rules.
I understand that pieces are frozen if there are enemy pieces between your piece, but what values must the pieces be if they are to freeze?

So, for instance, can two rabbits freeze a cat in position?

... there was another question, but i've drawn a blank.

Only stronger pieces can freeze weaker pieces that are next to them, even if there is more than one weaker piece surrounding the stronger piece. Remember also that if a friendly piece moves next to a frozen piece then that piece is unfrozen.

Note that you don't freeze an enemy piece for being "between" your pieces.  You don't need two pieces to freeze one enemy.  You can freeze an enemy piece with only one of your own by being adjacent to the enemy, if your piece is stronger and the enemy piece has no adjacent friends.

A piece is frozen if it has one or more stronger enemies adjacent to it AND it doesn't have any adjacent friends.
