The Arimaa Puzzle Maker page

requires entering Arimaa notation for the starting position; something like: "Ea1 Rb1 ea8 rb8". For people it is much easier to view the board and pieces when creating a puzzle. To help with this I've created a JavaScript and HTML based compose page. Actually there was an older compose page which used Flash, but the button to output the notation stopped working. So rather than dig into Flash and fix that, I figured it would be easier to make the compose page from scratch without using any plugins. I was able to make this in a few hours thanks to JavaScript libraries like JQuery.

Excellent! A small note: on Ubuntu 12.04, using Chrome 24, the rabbits overlap the buttons for me.

Things to improve:
1. Doesn't resize well
2. "Son... Piece stacking is not a move."
Maybe I'll do it myself for fun :)

I only tried it on a windows PC and an iPad, so it probably has a lot of little problems on other platforms. Feel free to download it and play around with it.
