Title: JavaScript compose page Post by omar on Jan 21st, 2013, 11:31am The Arimaa Puzzle Maker page http://arimaa.com/arimaa/puzzles/make.cgi requires entering Arimaa notation for the starting position; something like: "Ea1 Rb1 ea8 rb8". For people it is much easier to view the board and pieces when creating a puzzle. To help with this I've created a JavaScript and HTML based compose page. Actually there was an older compose page which used Flash, but the button to output the notation stopped working. So rather than dig into Flash and fix that, I figured it would be easier to make the compose page from scratch without using any plugins. I was able to make this in a few hours thanks to JavaScript libraries like JQuery. http://arimaa.com/arimaa/puzzles/compose.html Feel free to download this and improve it. |

Title: Re: JavaScript compose page Post by hyperpape on Jan 21st, 2013, 7:39pm Excellent! A small note: on Ubuntu 12.04, using Chrome 24, the rabbits overlap the buttons for me. |

Title: Re: JavaScript compose page Post by omar on Mar 2nd, 2013, 12:13am I only tried it on a windows PC and an iPad, so it probably has a lot of little problems on other platforms. Feel free to download it and play around with it. |
