So, how about framing the horse?

15g Mc3e he3e Md3e Eg4w

I'm trying to think of some way to punish him for not blocking out the camel...

Another way to try and use the camel,

15g Eg4w Ef4s he3w Ef3w

I like this move!

Nice! I was too focused on moving the camel rather than using the opening. The funny thing is, it's almost exactly what I suggested last time, so how could I have possibly missed it?

edit: and it seems better now that we don't have our camel vulnerable, too.

How do we respond to 15s he5e hf5s ed4w de6s?

I've been looking at 15g mg3s Eg4s xxxx xxxx moves.  Standard camel hostage where our M stays ready to pluck a piece off e3 if the silver e leaves while the gold H on a5 leads an attack.

In general silver is now pretty much forced to bring his pieces forward. I am not sure at all what the proper placement of gold's pieces are in this situation, so I could be convinced to vote for pretty much anything.

15g Eg4w Ef4w he3w Ee4s
15s he5e hf5s ed4w de6s

Maybe,
16g Dd1w Cd2s hd3s Mc3e

Clueless favours taking the camel hostage, but it doesn't understand swarms. If gold takes the camel hostage, it is probably a good idea to make some space so our pieces have room to operate. The dog on h4 helps to slow up silver's pieces on that side of the board. The horse on a5 does the same on the other side of the board.

15g mg3s Eg4s xxxx xxxx
15s he5e hf5s xxxx xxxx

What is gold's general plan? Attack c6?

After 15g Eg4w Ef4s he3w Ef3w there is 15s he5e hf5s ed4w de6s as Ron says. We should be able to get a horse hostage on a3 but we would have to allow mg3sw Hf2s, after which we have big trouble getting back hold on f3 (maybe we can in the long run but it's tough to imagine that we can control 3 of the 4 squares adjacent to f3 in any kind of future).

After 15g Mc3e he3e Md3e Eg4w 15s ed4s Me3n ed3e x I don't see much either.

The most logical to me would be as jdb says:
15g mg3s Eg4s Ha5ne
15s he5e hf5s rb8s rc8w

I'm not sure what's best afterwards (flip rb7 to b5? M to e3 does not seem to work yet). Anyway I don't like any of the 4 steps of 14s, they did not seem the most pressing things to do.

I'd like to start the vote Thursday so we don't use our reserve.  There hasn't been a lot of discussion, but so far not much consensus either.

For my part, I like pushing the camel to g2, but I'm not sure about what our last two steps should be.  H->b6 suggested by chessandgo seems fine.

After look some more, taking the camel hostage on g2 limits Fritz's options the most. It is unlikely we would have to come up with precise tactical moves in the near future. It also gives us a long term static advantage.

The other moves are more tactical, and would require more analysis (and time) in the moves ahead.

Eight voters all select the camel hostage move as their first choice.  A small, but unanimous Mob.
