Well, apparently Arimaa has won the "Best in Category: Abstract Strategy" for Games Magazine Games 100 - Year 2011. At least according to this list:

I asked about this in a different area of the Arimaa forum several days ago when someone made a blurb about this almost in passing, but I got no response or confirmation:

Games Magazine is where I first learned about arimaa.

Just out of curiosity ...

What do you have to do (or who do you have to sleep with) in order to get this magazine to review a game?

I have a new friend that is looking to get some exposure for a game that he's been working on resurrecting and launching in the next month or so. Thanks.
