I updated the 'Postal Tournament' page to show the standings also. It's gets updated about once an hour so sometimes it might not show the recently finished games.

From the Postal Championship page, it is possible to click on the current games and view them, but the finished games all pop up a message box that says "Game was won by forfeit." Can you fix this?

RonWeasley beats Keith on time in 24 moves (game 12512). This has been a tough stretch of time for Keith's schedule. I'd offer to lend him Dumbledore's time charm, but Hermione still has it.

| Not the way I wanted things to end but for the sake of the win/loss column this produces the same result. Ron had me. It was just a matter of time. Time I did not have.

Paul takes the tournament lead with 4 wins and no losses so far. More than a quarter of the games have finished: RonWeasley has finished 8 games, while Omar and MrBrain have finished none...

99of9 beat Naveed in 39 moves on time (game 12627). Interestingly one of my games is only up to 19 moves and still hasn't timed out. I guess Naveed was just super-available at the start, and busy just recently.

99of9 beat bot_Bomb in 58 moves (game 12631). At first I thought bomb would do very well in this tournament, since it would see tactics that humans overlooked, and would capitalise on any mistakes. However one thing I've learnt from this tournament is that humans make a lot less blunders than normal when they have plenty of time to think about it. In many of my games I was hoping for blunders, but only saw one or two in the whole tourney! (and made a few myself so far)

I've only made what I consider to be 3 outright blunders in this tournament, and 2 were due to thinking I was in the plan window. My game against bomb was really going to be easy, but the interface blunder I made there totally destroyed my position making it the toughest game I'm now playing.

My mistakes have not tended to be immediate tactical blunders, although I had my share, but instead strategic mistakes. Besides learning not to leave camels exposed, there's the problem of deciding if there are enough of the right pieces defending a trap or if a trap can be attacked. Then there's the difference between an advanced rabbit that is a weakness early, but turns into a threat at the end. And finally what to do if there are no obvious weaknesses to target or defend. The more experienced players have a big advantage in these areas. I'm always amazed when they create something out of nothing. Muggles aren't supposed to do that.
